About Us

 The Smith family established Three Oaks Farm in 2009, after purchasing just over 150 acres surrounding the confluence of Indian Run Creek and Delridge Run. After purchasing another parcel to the southwest of the property a few years later, they combined the two to give Three Oaks Farm over 320 acres of pastoral farmland, woods, and trails. A large, spring-fed, pond nestles in the lee between the main house and the fields. At 22 feet deep and stocked with Bass, Spot, and Grass Carp (which are not harvested), it is an ideal retreat to fish, relax, and take a dip on a hot summer day. To ensure an ideal guest experience, the pond is aerated and checked monthly by a professional Lake Management Company for cleanliness. 

The grounds peak with a hill, atop which stands the main house, a spacious example of the nouveau plantation style, wreathed by old growth oak trees. The grove provides an idyllic venue for small weddings and events, at once an intimate gathering spot, and a place to enjoy the panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Event tents may be erected near the house and in the field across the pond, for parties requiring more space. All locations are amenable to outside catering, and the main level of the house boasts a lovely chef’s kitchen and a separate bar area available for whatever your event requires.
